The technology we used was a camera, tripod and apple macs. We decided to use these pieces of equipment because the cameras were compatible with apple macs final cut program and where what the college had available at the time. We decided to use the final cut software that was on the macs this is because it was easy to use and granted easy access because of its availability. To film the tricky shots before actual filming we used a camera and a tripod. We filmed the first tricky shot first by holding the camera and slowly zooming in on the protagonist face. Originally we mounted the camera on the tripod and then placed the tripod on a chair and slowly wheeled it towards the protagonist, this didn’t work properly and the idea was scraped and the hand held zoom was put in place instead. We successfully used apple mac software to edit the finished product into a more professional looking piece of film and we also used the same program to edit the film to look smoother and salvage botched shots. However adding to the blog was less successful because of time constraints and finding things to add to the blog the blog itself was not that hard to use but there was not much to add to it. I have learnt to use a camera efficiently and how to adjust a tripod with minimal amount of problems.
