Evaluation 1

Evaluation 1
The brief was to film a conversation between two people, using match on action, 180degree line, shot reverse shot.
We researched by looking at different conversations in films that included 180degree rule, match on action and shot reverse shot.
To plan we planed by writing a storyboard, filled out a location RECEE to see if we could film there and filled out a risk assessment and worked out where we wanted to film. We also wrote a script and a storyboard to refer to while filming.
We covered the conversation from 3 different angles with a HD tripod camera as well as shots of one of the actors walking up a corridor and towards the end the same actor would get up and walk out the door behind him.
We filmed in the TV studio (lower levels of the college) and used our own equipment to film the exercise.
When we had finished the filming we edited the film using final cut for the apple mac. We trimmed the footage down to what was necessary and edited in a title and group number at the beginning of the film and added a dissolve effect to the title sequence so it would slowly fade into the film.
The film satisfies the brief by including the 180degree line when the two actors are talking, match on action when one of the actors enters the room and shot reverse shot is displayed when the actors are talking at one point one actor is talking then when he has finished, it pans to the other actor then back to the first. The film incorporates these elements in most scenes.
