Evaluation 5

I made the film trying to make it appeal to a teenage male audience, and it has come out favouring towards that target audience. However, when I put out the online questionnaire asking for feedback, I put it on Facebook, where it was reviewed by my family, who are mostly females over 30 years old. The results that came back showed a trend, where males understood the storyline of the film better than females, which was expected. Most people said it would be of the Sci-fi/Thriller genre and most people thought that the music fit the film well. A few people made several suggestions for the film to continue into involving aliens and plot twists. It was said that the film was similar to I, robot, which I can sort of see why. All of the reviews were positive, but I do not think I was effective in pushing the film to the target audience, nor pulling them to it because I did not advertise very well to people of the correct group. If I could do it again I would try to put my film "out there" as much as possible rather than the limited audience it has now.
